Technique

Start with your weight resting on your elbows and toes

Your body should be in a straight line with your core muscles braced to support your mid-section

There should be a straight line from the back of your head all the way to your heels

Hold for the allotted time

If you find the standard Plank too challenging then you should opt for the Plank from the knees variation until you have developed enough strength

For an additional challenge you can try the Plank with a raised leg variation

If you find supporting your weight on the elbows to be uncomfortable you can also try the Plank in a press up position variation
